|The new Oslo Airport will be completed in 2017, allowing 28 million passengers to travel to and from the airport every year. We are not building a new terminal, just expanding the existing one. The construction of a completely new pier will commence in spring 2013. We already have the International Pier stretching to the east and the Domestic Pier to the west. The new, and third, pier, will stretch to the north, and handle both international and domestic traffic, separated on two levels.

A decision on which area will be reserved for construction of a third runway at Oslo Airport Gardermoen will be made in 2013. The Government has already resolved that land shall be set aside for this purpose; the question being considered now is where. It is natural that a number of debates will arise regarding such a selection.

We are not constructing a new terminal, but expanding the existing one. The terminal will still be one building, as the new section will be integrated in the existing terminal. It will have the same characteristic roof and volume as it currently has. Work will commence in the summer of 2012 and the new hall will be completed in 2017.
