The Phoenix Contact Group now has an Advisory Board

Family-owned Company Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG, based in Blomberg, Germany, now has an Advisory Board which is on hand to assist the Executive Board in an advisory capacity.

The Advisory Board is made up of three external members plus two representatives of the company's eleven shareholders. The Chairman of the Advisory Board is Dr.-Ing. Eberhard Veit. He studied mechatronics and remote control technology in Stuttgart and is the former CEO of automation company Festo AG. Another member of the board is Prof. Dr. Günther Schuh from RWTH Aachen University. A graduate of mechanical engineering, he also has a degree in economics and has held the Chair of Production Systems at the university since 2002. The third member of the Advisory Board is Ralph Heuwing – he studied mechanical engineering in Aachen, Germany and Cambridge, USA, and received an MBA from the INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France. He is the CFO of Dürr AG, which specializes in machine building and systems manufacturing.

The family shareholders are represented by Christine Eisert, the widow of Gerd Eisert, and Dr. Frank Eisert, son of Klaus Eisert. Shareholders Klaus Eisert, Oliver Hoffmeister, and Prof. Dr. Dr. Helge Hohage are also members of the board.
