Development charity looks for new talent

Press Releases   •   Jun 22, 2018 14:22 BST

Innovative development charity Practical Action is set to recruit new members to its marketing and fundraising team as part of a transformation of the way in which it communicates and fundraises.

The Warwickshire-based charity will be rebranding, developing a new website and moving into new offices in the centre of Rugby over the course of the next year.

As part of that process, it will be recruiting new members of staff into its record breaking marketing and fundraising team.

They will be focusing on building the organisation’s supporter base and portfolio of individual donors, building new partnerships with philanthropists and businesses, in addition to bringing a new tone of voice to life.

Director of Marketing Rachel Hudson said: “This transformation marks the beginning of an exciting time at Practical Action. The rebrand will breathe new life into our work, will better express our unique approach to development and tell the amazing stories of the people we work with and the projects we’re involved in which tackle some of the world’s toughest challenges.”

Practical Action is a global innovator, inspiring people to discover and adopt ingenious, practical ways to free themselves from poverty and disadvantage.

Improving harvests through planet-friendly farming innovations. Transforming lives through affordable, renewable energy. Reducing vulnerability created by climate change or disaster. Demonstrating sustainable ways to improve clean water access and sanitation. Unlocking economic opportunities that allow whole communities to thrive.

Just a few of the ways we help people unleash their potential and protect our world for future generations.
