Samsung have a huge reason to celebrate this weekend as the Samsung Galaxy S3 reached the company’s goal of selling 10 Million units within its first two months. The Korean tech giant’s well managed and immediate global roll out to 140 countries made all of these possible.
Last May the arrival of the newest Samsung flagship was announced and it went on sale that same month. UK fans of the Galaxy S3 went all out as they made a sparking dash for each and every unit of the said device. J.K. Shin (Samsung’s Mobile Chief) said “It appears that it (accumulated sales) has exceeded 10 million unit.”
The 4.8” Super AMOLED HD screen of this smartphone and its powerful quad-core processor are just two of its best-selling points. Samsung also added a face recognition software technology and new S-Voice software are two of the other new things that you can expects handset.
The phone’s success was highlighted during Samsung’s recent quarterly earnings report. They have posted a Q2 2012 operating profit of about $5.9 Billion dollars.
