Ampthill-based Bonfire Creative Intelligence has been shortlisted for two significant industry awards for its work with Argos.

The Oracle Retail Week Awards has shortlisted Argos for The Ashton Partnership Product Innovation of the Year Award for the Chad Valley rebrand, which was carried out by Bonfire CI. The ceremony is set to take place on 15th March at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London and should Argos win an award, Bonfire CI will be recognised for its contribution by the organisers.

A week later, Bonfire CI will once again be sharing a table with Argos at Communicate Magazine’s Transform Awards, also taking place in London. This time it will be for rebranding BUSH in the ‘Best Rebrand from the Retail Sector’ category.

Stephen Judge, director of Bonfire CI said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that our work has been shortlisted for these prestigious awards. Getting shortlisted is an achievement in itself. On entering these awards, we were able to evidence that reworking both brands has had a really positive impact on Argos’ sales. Argos’ return on investment on branding has been significant. We’re all looking forward to the awards nights and we hope we come home with a trophy or two.”
