Significant new video, audio and interactive AV products were on show for the first time at Business Tech North, an exhibition staged by Saville in partnership with De Vere Venues Whites. The event drew visitors from across the country to the Reebok Stadium in Bolton on 4 July.
With over thirty leading manufacturers exhibiting, highlights included interactive touch sensitive tables from Samsung, Revolabs FLX wireless conference phones for videoconferencing applications and Saville ShowPearl, a three square metre LED display for guaranteed impact in brightly lit retail environments.
A programme of technology seminars included presentations by global videoconferencing leaders Polycom and interactive technology specialists SMART Technologies.
Saville systems divisional manager, Andy Dyson said: “Both Saville and De Vere invested a lot of resources in the planning and delivery of this event, but the effort was rewarded with much positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors alike”.
Visitor Jenni Smith of Manchester Art Gallery commented on the event’s ‘wow’ factor. She said: “It ran seamlessly – the venue and the staff were excellent. It has given me a lot of food for thought and the light and sound display was jaw dropping. Thank you for an event to remember.”
