Ampthill-based Bonfire Creative Intelligence has brought together business ‘superheroes’ in the town to raise money for Keech Hospice Care, the company’s nominated charity this year. Superhero Friday is held annually as part of Children’s Hospice Week to raise money.

Eighteen shops and businesses are participating by collecting money, with many of them joining in the fun by dressing up as superheroes. Ampthill’s fancy dress shop, Limelight has helped out by giving people a discount on costume hire.

Maggie Doust, Corporate Fundraiser at Keech Hospice Care said: “ This is a great, fun way for people to get involved and help us continue the vital work here at the Hospice and within the local community. Thank you to Bonfire Creative Intelligence and all the businesses involved for their enthusiasm and support. ”

Keech Hospice Care cares for children and adults from across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes. Its aim is to help patients enjoy the highest quality of life, while providing vital support for their family and friends throughout their loved one's illness and in their bereavement. All of the charity's services are offered free of charge, every single day of the year.
