A Mid Glamorgan football team will be sporting a new kit for next season thanks to leading Welsh retail and consumer finance company, Buy As You View.


Ferndale Boys and Girls FC is a popular team that provides coaching and fixtures for local children aged 6-9. The club continues to grow in popularity and regularly attracts over 30 children to the weekly training sessions. The club is solely funded by parents and charitable donations received at various fundraising events throughout the season. Equipment and kit is expensive so Ferndale Secretary, Lisa Fry and parent to one of the players, Beth Evans approached Buy As You View to see if they could provide assistance.


Mrs Fry comments; “I was aware that Buy As You View were active in the local community and had seen that they had sponsored rugby teams in the past. We hoped that Buy As You View would be able to help us towards getting some new balls and kit for our under 9’s team. We contacted their Bridgend-based team and were delighted that they offered to buy the kit as well as footballs for our whole under 9’s team, a donation of almost £400.”


Buy As You View employs almost 700 people nationwide, 250 of which are based in South Wales. The company sells a range of electrical goods and furniture for the home through a weekly repayment and credit facility.

Buy As You View (BAYV) is a retail and consumer finance company, selling a range of electrical goods and furniture for the home. It provides a coinmeter repayment and credit facility for a personal, convenient and manageable way to finance and plan purchases.
