For every Celebration Wrist Tie™ sold 10% of the sales revenue will be donated to The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust.
The team of school mums who founded the company Celebration Wrist Ties are hopeful that their Diamond Jubilee Celebration Wrist Tie™ will be the collectable piece to have for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
"We had four main objectives to achieve; make something attractive, affordable, help British companies and give something reasonable to charity by donating 10% of our sales revenue”. said Karen Nicol (Director)
“We chose The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust which is chaired by Sir John Major and donates to many worthy causes. The Trust seemed the most appropriate choice” said Karen.
“Producing an attractive and affordable product was key” said Karen. Both Leanne Bodell-Forbes and Karen believe once people start seeing their Celebration Wrist Tie™ in public on women, men and children their Celebration Wrist Tie™ will become a desirable Diamond Jubilee memento.
It is a beautiful embroidered ribbon with a lovely Swaskoski crystal on either end of the ribbon that glints in the day and sparkles in the evening. It is priced at just £4.99.

Their website www.2012diamond.co.uk highlights the attention to detail of the product as well as providing an insight into royalty along with a brief overview of The Queen. “Hopefully when people visit our site and purchase their Celebration Wrist Tie™ they will then go on to explore more about The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, Her Majesty The Queen and the extended Royal Family” said Leanne.
Each packet of the female wrist tie features a printed souvenir card is named after one of Her Majesty The Queen’s places of residences and also includes her lovely play house given to her as a young Princess called The Y Bwthyn Bach. The masculine versions of their Celebration Wrist Tie™ are named after Her Majesty The Queen’s officer training school and Sandringham.
Leanne said “We wanted the wearing of our Celebration Wrist Ties to be a tactile memory of this wonderful moment in history, rather than the usual buy and discard event merchandise in its price bracket”
