Cozy Games enters Social Gaming with the launch of Bingo on Facebook

Press Release   •   Oct 20, 2010 15:25 BST

Facebook has an extremely active audience of over 500 million users and a demographic that spans all age groups, making it the de-facto Social Network and Social Gaming site. Facebook's audience surpassed Google recently, with regard to the time spent on the website with an estimated 41.1 million minutes. The partnership between Cozy Games and Product Madness to capture a part of this audience comes across as a laudable approach and the teams have tasted success immediately with the game registering more than 100000 active users in less than 45 days of its launch.

Bingo with its inherent social gaming aspects has proven to be a big hit with Facebook users. Players can play different types of bingo games and chat with their friends while playing bingo. There are plans to introduce special chat quizzes and chat games to make the experience more enjoyable for players. Apart from Bingo, players will also be able to play variety of Slots, Casino and Scratchcard style games.

“The choice of Bingo is not casual” states Daniel Freireich, Product Madness VP of Product Management, “Bingo is an inherently Social Game which is directly aligned with the mentality of Facebook users.”  Aside from the excitement of the Bingo game itself, the chat functionality and the gifting abilities in Big City Bingo contribute in the creation of a sense of community among the players.

"Continuing on the path of innovation and growth, we are pleased to announce the launch of our bingo product on Facebook in partnership with Product Madness. Working with Product Madness we were able to complement each other’s skills. With Product Madness’s marketing strength and our product and technology capabilities, we believe this will be a very successful product“said Jaydeep Chakravartty, Business Development Manager at Cozy Games.

"Bingo nicely complements our growing portfolio of games. The synergies between Cozy Games and Product Madness were apparent from the start. They have strong technological gaming capabilities; we understand Social Gaming and know how to market for it. Their front end game combined with our proprietary publishing tools will allow us to make this a big success - and on top of it, we are having a blast interacting with our users through the chat functionality" said Jose Brotons, COO of Product Madness.
