Responding to the Science for All Expert Group, Science and Innovation Minister Lord Drayson said:

"I want people to be well informed about science and feel comfortable about its impact on their lives. That's why we're keen to reward university researchers for public engagement.

I welcome the expert group's report and look forward to working with other bodies - including the Department for Culture, Media and Sport - on further raising the profile of science."
