Diagnostic System for brakes becomes a matter of survival

Press Release   •   Oct 27, 2010 14:46 BST

In the near future diagnostic system for brakes will be a matter of survival for independent garages. More and more functions in heavy vehicles is controlled by advanced electronic systems. This has made the diagnostic system Weasy to become a sales success for the brake specialist Rydahls.

It is increasingly difficult for vehicle owners and independent operators to be able to repair and maintain their vehicles. But with a diagnostic system they can retain its independence and also save a lot of money.
- This is a matter of survival for many independent operators in the service and aftermarket for heavy vehicles. In the near future garages that don't invest in this new technology will be strongly limited by the ability to perform repairs and advanced troubleshooting, says Conny Granqvist, Product Manager at Rydahls.

Very high interest for the system after the exhibition Lastbil 2010
Rydahls which is the first retailer in Sweden for the diagnostic system Weasy have noticed a strong demand from customers all over the country.
- The interest is very high after we launched the system at Lastbil 2010 exhibition in Jönköping in August. Right now, we travel all around the country and demonstrate it, says Conny Granqvist.

Easier with the version in Swedish
On November 1, Weasy will also be available in a  Swedish version which increase the interest for the system even further.
- When dealing with technical instructions and documents you would like to have it in your native language to avoid misunderstandings and ensure 100 percent understanding.
- With a Swedish version of Weasy, this becomes the market's most highly skilled diagnostic system that support all common truck models, trailers and vans, says Conny Granqvist.
