With the UK suffering its wettest second quarter since records began in 1910, the benefits of Diamon-Fusion’s new revolutionary windscreen treatment is offering a ray of hope to workshops.
Indeed, the news from the Met Office of the dismally damp conditions from April to June will not be a surprise to most, with the outlook for the rest of summer not much better.
However, the good news is that Diamon-Fusion’s nano-technology treatment, just launched in the UK, can improve visibility by up to 30 per cent when faced with wet conditions, in essence making it beneficial all year round and not just during the winter months.
Not only does this help drivers who have had the windscreen treatment but also retailers, stockists and dealerships who can make the most of the prolonged wet spell by offering it as a valuable aftersales service throughout the year.
“Diamon-Fusion offers many benefits to drivers but it’s possibly at its best when helping motorists faced with wet and rainy driving conditions, which we’ve had more than our fair share of this year,” explains Nathan Curzons, director, Diamon-Fusion.
“This ongoing atrocious weather shows that our special coating offers tangible benefits to drivers all year round, not just when in traditionally wetter months.
“And from a sales perspective, it means that Diamon-Fusion retailers have ample opportunity to market the nano-technology treatment throughout the year, seriously enhancing their aftersales business.”
Diamon-Fusion’s other advantages include that it reduces night time glare by up to 25 per cent, plus it eradicates frosty glass on cold mornings and makes the glass tougher, more scratch and impact resistant.
“Like everyone else we’re keeping our fingers crossed that summer finally arrives but if it doesn’t then at least we know that Diamon-Fusion customers will have a smile on their faces,” added Curzons.
