Thule, market leader within transport solutions for the automotive industry, is pleased to announce the launch of the new Thule Rapid System 754. With the launch of this new roof rack foot, the complete Rapid System range is now fully City Crash approved.
Crash tests have proven that the new roof rack foot can support an increased maximum load of up to 75kgs. It is also equipped with an integrated torque indicator for safe mounting. The roof rack foot is adaptable with both square and aluminium bars. The product is delivered without loose parts, and comes with a practical cover protecting the mechanism and assembly tools.
Karl-Johan Magnusson, International Product Manager Roof Rack Systems at Thule, comments: “Thule Rapid System 754 presents several advantages for the consumers. Firstly, the safety has been increased through the torque indicator, which automatically indicates when the rack is safely and properly attached to the vehicle. A further improvement is that we can now present a complete range that complies with the rigorous but very important City Crash norm. Also, from an aesthetic point of view, we hope that its timeless design will please our customers.”
The Rapid System 754 will replace the Rapid System 750 and is fully compatible with the Rapid 750 kit system. It is also lockable with the Thule One Key System.
Other products in the Rapid System range include Thule Rapid System 751, Thule Rapid System 753, Thule Rapid System 757 and Thule Rapid System 775
