Eerie Excitement for Shotgun!

Shotgun are delighted to announce that we have won the contract to manage in-house PR and Communications for this year’s Halloween Festival, at Tulley's Farm, Crawley.

With a reputation worldwide for supplying outstanding local foods, providing a great customer experience and seasonal, family fun attractions and events, the third-generation family farm offers entertainment for all ages, from kids running around finding cartoon Easter Eggs in April, to the scream-tastic Halloween Festival each Autumn. The 16 day Halloween festival comprises of Spooktober Fest Fun Park in the daytime, for families with younger children, and the Shocktober Fest Scream Park in the evening for all to enjoy. 

The established event continues to break new boundaries and firmly remains the consumer’s favourite, holding on tightly to the glorious accolade of No.1 Halloween attraction in the UK for another year.  Considered by many 'Scare-Seekers' as the Holy Grail of Halloween attractions, where horror is literally brought to life, the Halloween festival and especially, the Shocktober Fest Scream Park guarantees an incredible experience to remember.

Having firmly dug our fangs into this thrilling project with Tulley's, we are very excited about the PR and Communications activities we will be undertaking, ensuring that this year's event is the biggest - and the best!  What’s even more exciting about this opportunity, is that we are on-board to see the addition of new street attractions for this year’s event too, such as the 'WoodShock' stage, offering a whole host of popular live bands; ‘Cirque de Shock’ circus, AfterLife Bar and the Haunted Fun Fair, ensuring each day and evening of the 16 day event line-up offers all ages a fantastic experience.

Having attended ‘Shocktober Fest’ each year, Shotgunhave experienced the interactive and immersive haunted adventures firsthand and we can say with all confidence how utterly fantastic the event is.  It’s what you make it but it is there to offer scares, fun, thrills and laughter, as well as excellent value for money. We like how different passes can be purchased, depending on just how much you want to experience.  If you don’t want to be scared too much, you probably won’t want to experience all of the six ‘haunts’ in the evening, so the passes on sale allow you to choose.  You might decide upon a ‘Street Pass’ only, providing access to the street entertainment, music stage, circus, fun fair and bars but no haunts.  However, if like us you are keen to experience the exhilarating and thrilling entertainment to the fullest (spare pair of trousers might be needed!) then it’s the XScream pass that’ll get you full access to all six haunts, as well as all of the other entertainment.
