EXASOL consistently leads on raw performance and price in public benchmarks by the Transaction Processing Performance Council and continues to gain momentum internationally following the opening of its offices in San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Brazil and London.
Andrew Goldthorpe, joins EXASOL as its new Operations Director to head up business operations in the UK and Ireland and oversee the growing deployment of its award-winning EXASolution database. Andrew is an information systems and Business Intelligence specialist who has previously played a key role in determining the business systems and strategic architecture of a number of large companies, including: BT, Freeserve, Wanadoo UK and Orange UK.
Dave Shuttleworth, joins the EXASOL team as Principal Consultant, to oversee technical implementation and play a pivotal role in solution deployments. David is a recognised authority in the database field and has been instrumental in helping to develop the global landscape for parallel processing for commercial databases – winning an award for his outstanding contributions to the Netezza Community in 2011. Dave has worked in pre and post sales for the likes of Data General, Teradata, and Kognitio and was previously a Director of intelligent Edge Group, where he specialised in the migration and implementation of data warehouses.
Graham Mossman, EXASOL’s new Senior Solution Engineer, has been brought on board to manage product development and messaging strategy at a company level. Graham is an expert in data warehouse architecture and the integration and optimisation of ETL and BI tools to meet both operational and business requirements. Graham won the DM Review ‘World Class Solution’ Award in 2005, as Data Architect for Caudwell Communications’ pioneering Netezza data warehouse, and has spent the last ten years specialising in MPP (Massively Parallel Processing).
