First images released of major Irish/British co-production Hound

Press Release   •   Apr 19, 2012 11:19 BST

BreakThru Films and Pillarstone Productions today release the first batch of concept art for their eagerly awaited Hound. The story of Cúchulainn, the most famous warrior of Celtic Ireland, whose life was filled with violence and tragedy, Hound will offer writer/director Paul Bolger’s unique and rare vision of Ireland’s mythic past.

The project has so far been shrouded in secrecy, these images represent the first glimpse into the spectacular world of Cú, where cultures clash in brutal war and stories of strange beasts and meddling spirits still haunt the land.

As well as a major cinematic release, Hound also represents a multi-platform global franchise, which includes the development of a graphic novel and a variety of applications for Android and iOS, bringing one of the world’s oldest epic legends to life like never before.

The tentative front cover image from the Hound graphic novel has also been released, displaying its stark and powerful aesthetic, more details are due to be announced very soon

High resolution images available on request.
