G3 Global’s confidence in its own affordable preconfigured solutions for the SME market is reinforced by the decision to base all their own mission critical business processes on that solution.

Says Chris Gunter, CEO G3 Global:
“All of the key challenges facing the SME sector are shared by G3 Global, so why shouldn’t we be the first to benefit from it ourselves? Our unique FastStart Cloud Platform has been designed to enable customers to implement SAP in a rapid timeframe, meaning they can quickly achieve cost savings through the efficiencies delivered. I am so convinced by what my team have developed and the business value to G3 that we have embarked on the program to be the first on the platform."

Says Robert Furnivall, Head of Channels, SAP United Kingdom & Ireland:
"G3 are an important partner to SAP and it is great news that they will be implementing SAP ERP and CRM software to use internally. We are pleased to see G3 pioneering the way as they become the first partner to implement SAP in this way in the UK.”

With SAP Business All-in-One (BAIO) for Professional Services G3 Global will benefit from the ability to develop and manage client relationships, maximize resource utilization, improve operational efficiency in delivering projects and IT services, drive profitability, and respond with agility to the range of client requirements. G3 Global will be implementing full SAP ERP (including financials, sales, purchasing); SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and SAP Business Objects (for business intelligence requirements).

Says Andrew Borresen, Technology Director,

“Using SAP means we are well positioned for growth as we use the same system as many of the largest and most successful organizations in the world. Our intention is to engage in a constant business improvement programme in order to provide ourselves and other mid enterprise companies a robust solution with all the benefits large organizations enjoy, following accelerated implementation timelines, at an affordable mid enterprise price point.”

All of the key challenges facing the SME sector are shared by G3 Global Key Challenges such as:
  To retire heavily customized legacy systems and dependence on spreadsheets;
  To Establish a platform for future growth
  To Provide better information for business decisions
  To Reduce batch processing and manual tasks
  To Improve visibility into customer profitability
  To Support best practices developed by industry leaders
  All at a predictable and affordable cost by deploying a preconfigured industry-specific solution with rapid implementation

Says Mike Slemmings, Media Services Manager,

“With minimum disruption and a committed workforce the whole implementation programme will be completed by 31 January 2010. During this time it will be business as usual for G3 Global demonstrating yet another aspect of the low cost of implementation.”

Having experienced significant growth even through the recession, it is clear our customers are benefitting from our services. Using SAP will help us become even more effective in how we manage our business, whilst we continue to be pioneering in the solutions we develop.

Says Robert Furnivall, Head of Channels, SAP United Kingdom & Ireland:
“The fact that G3 are a mid-sized company also reinforces the message that SAP is not only for large organisations, and makes G3 an important SME customer reference. This shows that our relationship is built on real substance and that G3 are happy to run their business on the same software that SAP use and sell. We look forward to a successful implementation and a continued strong partnership between SAP and G3"

We are confident that this is the right decision for our business, whilst providing the advantage that our customers can gain confidence from the fact that we will be using the G3Cloud offering ourselves.

The G3 Global Cloud Solution will be officially launched to Mid-enterprise customers in January 2010.
