A first for the ISA and the sport, the final will be available live across the globe allowing the fans that aren’t present a chance to watch from the comfort of their home, or head to the many skate shops screening the finals as a social event. Furthermore these international fans will be able to interact by submitting their questions through ISA social mediums to be answered live by their favourite riders.
Terry Price and Todd Grady will be hosting the online streaming with special guests including the sport’s top International pro riders and industry insiders. Discussing the highlights of 2012 and live rider interviews, the show will also be interspersed with clips from the weekend’s activity including the ISA Scooter Expo and clips from the many top competitions that make up the sports championship.
The ISA will capture the social banter, excitement and image of the sport through the riders and weekend activity. This will be packaged into a worldwide quality show, made for the web and social media. Additional post content will be used to market the true essence of the sport and encourage more young people to become active through Scooter riding.
The live stream will be brought to you by interactive video platform ShowCaster. Passionate about live video and interactive services, ShowCaster is pioneering social TV with innovative digital show formats for major broadcasters such as Sky and Channel 4 – including the multi-award winning Live in Chelsea.
Phil Grice, ISA Chief Exec, comments: “An objective of the ISA championship is to provide the riders with a global platform to showcase their sport their way, and what a fantastic opportunity the riders have to do just that. Everyone involved in the ISA and event are pulling together, the excitement can be seen across the vast scooter community. Working with ShowCaster is a fantastic step in the right direction for exposing the sport, creating future opportunities for the scooter industry to develop”.
