Krusell have produced cases for mobile electronics since 1991 and is well recognized for being a supplier of handcrafted leather cases. A new category is now introduced, by the launch of a new waterproof silicon case for smart phones.

-         We have struggled to get a high quality waterproof case in our assortment for a number of years and finally we can present a truly waterproof smart phone case. The case is slim, light weight and semi universal which means it fits most smart phones on the market. You can talk, send text messages or update your Facebook status while you’re in the swimming pool says Mr Ulf Sandberg CEO at Krusell. This case is longed for by millions of people working outdoors in a wet or dirty environment. There is also a massive target group such as sailors, skiers or tourists just wanting to bring their phone to the beach without destroying it in the sand or in the water.

The patented SEaLABox cases are made in Sweden and are certified according to IPX7 standard. Test duration was 30 minutes, Immersion at depth of 1m.

These cases will be available in seven different colors, black, white, red, pink, orange, yellow and blue. The recommended consumer price is EUR 49,90.

The cases will be officially launched at the Mobile World Congress exhibition in Barcelona, 14-17th of February.
