Cyber security software company Titania and their Nipper Studio security auditing software have been made finalists in 5 categories for this year’s Computing Security Awards.
Titania opened its first offices in December 2010. Since then their flagship product, Nipper Studio, has become an industry leading security product used in over 40 countries worldwide by global organisations, government agencies and the military.
Ian Whiting, Titania’s Managing Director said, ‘We are so pleased to be finalists for these awards and we are really grateful to everyone who has taken the time to vote for us so far. At Titania we strive to develop software that makes cyber security accessible and achievable for everyone and we value our customers’ feedback extremely highly. The fact that the finalist for these awards have been decided through public vote makes it even more rewarding for us.’
Recently Ian Whiting delivered a presentation at the Demystifying Cyber Security event at The Hive in Worcester. Titania joined forces with other local cyber security organisations to hold the event targeted at Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs), where they offered practical and cost effective advice on how to keep secure online. Ian Whiting said, ‘Increasing cyber security awareness is extremely important, especially for SMEs who experience 80% of cyber attacks. It is imperative that we share our knowledge and develop solutions that can help smaller businesses secure their data without breaking the bank. This is what we have aimed to achieve with our Nipper Studio software solution and we are delighted that one of our award nominations is for SME Security Solution of the Year.’
Voting closes on the 29st of October 2012 and Titania representatives will be attending the awards held in London on the 8th of November 2012. The categories are; Network Security Solution of the Year, Enterprise Security Solution of the Year, SME Security Solution of the Year, Security Company of the Year and the Editor’s Choice Award.
