LG will be releasing the LG G Pro 2 in Korea on the 21st of February, according to a report. This would mean that the Korean consumer will get their hands on the smartphone before anyone else in the world.
This is according to a report from ZDNet Korea. The site reports, “LG Electronics’ recently unveiled phablet the G Pro 2 will start domestic sales in Friday, February 21, according to telecom officials Tuesday.”
The site adds, “The phablet, which touts a 5.9-inch screen, features a new unlock UI called Knock Code as well as OIS Plus, which minimizes blurring when taking photos.”
Speaking about the phablet’s global release, the site says, “Korean consumers will be the first to tryout the new device in the world. Sales in other Asian counties will start later in March. US and European launches are expected much later, LG officials said.”
