15 new Liberal Democrat members of the House of Lords have been announced.

They are:

  1. Sal Brinton – Former parliamentary candidate and senior party activist
  2. Dee Doocey AM, OBE – Chair of the Greater London Assembly
  3. Cllr Qurban Hussain – Former Deputy Leader of Luton Council and former parliamentary candidate
  4. Judith Jolly – Chair of Devon & Cornwall Liberal Democrats and senior Liberal Democrat policy maker
  5. Susan Kramer – Former MP for Richmond Park and former Liberal Democrat candidate for London Mayor
  6. Raj Loomba – Businessman and philanthropist
  7. Jonathan Marks QC – Senior barrister, former councillor and parliamentary candidate
  8. Cllr Monroe Palmer – Barnet Councillor and former parliamentary candidate, Chairman of Liberal Democrat Friends of Israel
  9. Jenny Randerson AM – Former Minister of Culure, Sport and the Welsh language and acting Deputy First Minister in the Welsh Assembly
  10. John Sharkey – Chair of the 2010 Liberal Democrat General Election campaign and former MD of Saatchi & Saatchi
  11. Paul Strasburger - Businessman and philanthropist
  12. Nicol Stephen MSP – Former Deputy First Minister of Scotland and former MP for Kincardine and Deeside
  13. Ben Stoneham – Director of Operations at Liberal Democrat HQ and senior party activist
