Magma Ceramics and Catalysts Launches Range of Zirconia Crucibles and Announces Product Qualification

Press Release   •   Sep 24, 2014 14:27 BST

Magma is pleased to announce the launch of a range of zirconia crucibles aimed specifically towards customers operating within the superalloy industry. The new and innovative zirconia technology has been developed by Magma and applied to a select range of crucible products. This unique material offers significant benefits to customers including yield improvement and reduced process costs, which can offer cost advantages to customers who select these products.

Magma’s Business Development Manager, Tim Hazlehurst, said:

“Magma’s research and development programme plays a key role in supporting our customer’s success. As a company, Magma is committed to continually investigating new technologies that both benefit our customers and distinguish us from the competition.”

Additionally, following the successful commissioning and integration of Magma’s Vietnamese manufacturing facility earlier this year, the company is delighted to announce product qualification by it’s major customers.

Scrupulous attention to detail and strict adherence to it’s ISO systems ensures that Magma’s Vietnamese product range will always comply to the highest standards. This enables the company to continue to maintain and build it’s reputation as the world’s leading supplier of Fired Refractory Solutions.
