Ministry of Justice - Judicial Appointments: Appointment of a Designated Immigration Judge

Further to the announcement on 18 January 2010, Immigration Judge Terence Richard Peter Hollingworth will not take up appointment on 1 February 2010 as a Designated Immigration Judge of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal, based in North Shields, due to personal reasons.

Notes for the Editor

Terence Richard Peter Hollingworth (58) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1979. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2000, as a Full Time Immigration Adjudicator in 2003 and became an Immigration Judge with the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal in April 2005.
