Ministry of Justice - Judicial Appointments: Appointment of a District Judge (Magistrates' Courts) - Brailsford

HM The Queen has appointed Jeffery William Brailsford to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned him to the Northern Circuit, based at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court with effect from Monday 1 February 2010.

Notes to EditorMr Brailsford is aged 61. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1973 and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) (then known as Acting Provincial Stipendiary Magistrate) in 1998.
