Ministry of Justice - Judicial Appointments: Circuit Bench Appointment - Creed

HM The Queen has appointed Murray Laurence Creed to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP.  The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned him to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Crown Court with effect from Wednesday 17 March 2010.

Notes for the Editor

Murray Laurence Creed (55) was called to the Bar (L) in 1978. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) in 1992, as a Salaried Employment Judge (England and Wales) in 1995, as an Assistant Recorder in February 2000 and as a Recorder in July 2000.
