Ministry of Justice - Judicial Appointments: District Judge Appointments - Dodd and Molineaux

HM The Queen has appointed Christopher John Dodd to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Gateshead County Court with effect from Monday 1 March 2010.

HM The Queen has appointed Samantha Michele Molineaux to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Southend County Court with effect from Tuesday 6 April 2010.

Notes to Editors

Mr Dodd is aged 48. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1984 and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2000.

Miss Molineaux is aged 43. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992 and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2006.
