MITIE receives Dacorum Community Award

MITIE has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Connect Dacorum and Dacorum Community Trust in recognition for their outstanding contribution to the local community. 

The certificate, signed by the Mayor of Dacorum, Councillor Stephen Holmes, was presented to MITIE’s Partnering Manager, Richard Bartram by Dacorum Project Manager Jeoff Colls. 

Jeoff Colls commented, ‘The work that MITIE has done with DEN`s, a local homeless charity has been exceptional. This recognition has been achieved through MITIE`s involvement with DENS over the last year. We want to encourage more local businesses to improve their community activities and hopefully we have demonstrated how successful partnerships can achieve this.” 

Richard Bartram says, ‘At MITIE we pride ourselves in putting back in to communities that we work in. We believe effective improvement has to go on long after the workforce has left and the paint is dry. It’s not just about the interiors of the homes we work in, it’s all to do with the local communities and we believe in making people proud of their neighbourhoods.’
