The app enables members to initiate claims and, for certain medical conditions, secure instant confirmation of cover for their immediate treatment – helping them to access care straightaway. They can also upload claims documents securely and submit general queries about their claim at a time and place that suits them. In addition, the app also provides health information from AXA PPP’s extensive online library of medical factsheets, news and features and users can also use its ‘Ask an Expert’ service to ask one of the healthcare company’s team of medical experts questions about their health concerns.
Richard Cooper, AXA PPP healthcare’s Head of Digital and Content, said: “The UK Digital Experience Awards recognise delivery of exceptional customer experience through digital media channels. The judges’ feedback on MyHealth was extremely positive and recognised our commitment to embracing new technology while retaining our highly personal and supportive approach to healthcare.
“This award demonstrates the significant role digital can play in supporting people’s health and wellbeing. We look forward to continuing to build on this success by enhancing further the MyHealth app to exceed our members’ expectations.”
