The anticipation is building up as launch and release of the new iPhone or the iPhone 5 is nearing. It’s not only the avid Apple fans who are getting excited about this. Almost all of the mobile phone carriers are also getting into the action. This is most especially true for the European Market. There are several wireless service providers who have started ordering their nano-SIM cards for the iPhone 5. The said nano-SIM cards are known to be smaller than the already small micro-SIM cards. Today, both the iPhone 4 and 4S are using the micro-SIM cards.
According to a report made by the Financial Times, carriers are now preparing for the overwhelming demand for the upcoming and latest iPhone. The said Nano-SIM cards are made to save more space on the said smartphone. This is also to determine whether the handset is compatible with GSM or 4G LTE.
Apple has not commented on whether they will come up with a slimmer iPhone 5 or not. The new handset is expected to launch worldwide in September or October this year. The said phone may be offered by AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless in the US.
