Neopost Limited, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of mailing solutions, announced today that it has been appointed as a supplier to the new G Cloud 7 framework.
Following a competitive tendering process, Neopost has been selected to extend long term support to the central government and wider public sector. Public sector organisations are now able to access Neopost’s Filestore document and process management solution through Lot 3 of the framework relating to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Filestore is an entirely cloud-based system that empowers organisations to realise greater benefits when managing and storing documents and other digital assets. It enables organisations to view and retrieve documents remotely from any location and its accreditation with the ISO270001 international standard for information security provides users with peace of mind in regards to data compliance.
“In successfully being appointed to G Cloud 7, Neopost is now able to assist central government departments and the whole of the wider public sector with their requirements around document and process management,” said Paul Goodbrand, director of public sector strategy at Neopost. “As well as the inherently secure service itself, organisations can derive true, sustainable benefits in accessing the Filestore via G Cloud. In line with key initiatives such as channel shift and digital by default, the solution provides significant efficiency gains through access as a SaaS solution.”
“We have witnessed an exponential growth and adoption of procuring services via G Cloud,” continued Goodbrand. “With cumulative sales through the portal now in excess of £850,000,000, the benefit to organisations and ultimately the public purse can be clearly seen.”
