United Aftermarket Network (UAN) has seen membership levels reach new heights following the recent launch of its new central rebates programme.
New motor factor additions from as far afield as Northern Ireland to Hereford and Newcastle are the latest to join and are now enjoying the benefits of belonging to the UK’s fastest growing automotive parts buying group.
UAN currently has over 150 distributor members all operating within their own territorial locations, and this is expected to grow further by the end of the year.
One of the latest distributors quickly benefitting from UAN membership is SJ Auto Factors in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Susan Wrigley, from SJ Auto Factors, explained: “The appeal of UAN was clear to see and it hasn’t taken long for us to witness first-hand the advantages of becoming a member.
“By joining, we have been boosted by the group’s considerable buying power and competitive prices, along with access to purchasing agreements with more than 70 approved OE-quality suppliers and brands. Furthermore, UAN supports our independence and identity so that we can continue to effectively operate within our own parameters.”
Andrew Dickinson, managing director, UAN, said: “Throughout our history, we have always prided ourselves on delivering considerable value for money for membership of UAN and the new central rebates programme is further evidence of this. We have added another piece to the UAN jigsaw and will continue to focus our efforts on supporting a distributor’s core business.”
Adrian Moore, managing director of UAN distributor Cragmay, said: "The supreme efficiency of the central rebates programme in centrally collecting and delivering supplier purchasing rebates to distributors in one payment is a deciding factor in our increasing support of UAN approved suppliers."
