New Operations Director for Magma Ceramics & Catalysts

Magma Ceramics & Catalysts has appointed Martyn Gannon as its new Operations Director.

Martyn joined Magma in November 2011 in the role of QHSE Manager and has worked tirelessly to ensure the company achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 within an unprecedented 12 month period. With over 13 years’ experience gained within the automotive and gas and oil industries, Martyn brings experience of implementing and working in a lean and Total Quality Management (TQM) manufacturing environment, which is in line with Magma’s future plans. He will build on the work of departing Operations Director, David O’Malley, who will support Martyn as he makes the transition into the role.

Magma’s MD, Mark Stuckey, welcomed the appointment, saying: "We are delighted that Martyn has accepted this position and feel that he will bring a fresh approach to the role."
