New UK Wedding Directory goes nationwide –

The directory leads hundreds of brides to quality wedding suppliers in their area, saving them time and money. The Wedding Gateway went live with their first site in Essex in March 2013 and since then the company has quickly grown boasting over 800 registered suppliers and over 20,000 hits a month.

I’ve found 4 suppliers from the site for my wedding and have been delighted with it” The Wedding Gateway is different to other wedding directories. They offer a unique service as each of the local sites are managed by area consultants who use associated Facebook pages to ensure local couples are matched to bespoke suppliers. They also offer no priority listings and use innovative listing circulation software, giving all suppliers regardless of size an equal opportunity to be seen. The hard work doesn’t stop here and they have set up links with Wedding Ideas magazine sharing their registered supplier photos for monthly articles, and are also proud sponsors of Wedding Ideas Awards for 2014. Launched in March 2013, The Wedding Gateway is a collection of local websites and associated Facebook pages covering all of the UK designed to bring local brides and wedding suppliers together. The website has 44 local sites and over 800 registered suppliers.
The company was launched by Lou Wright who has worked in the wedding industry for many years and her husband Matt Wright who has website experience. Lou knows the frustrations of trawling dozens of websites trying to finding exactly what you want, as well that something different. She set the company up to provide a one-stop-shop for suppliers and brides alike. All suppliers on the site are based in the local county and each listing highlights the specific areas they cover, to help brides find those that are nearest to then. The Wedding Gateway network is proud to be different from other sites, as they have made a conscious decision not to include sponsored links, adverts or priority listings. They want to keep the site clean and easy to navigate with just the important information brides are looking for. They also want to give all suppliers, regardless of size, an equal opportunity to be seen. All listings are of equal size and are randomly allocated an order each time the site is visited, allowing talented individuals and bespoke suppliers to be showcased.
