Noel Barry's courageous act sees him through to next stage of Stars

Press Release   •   May 14, 2014 10:37 BST

Mitie’s painting business has nominated Noel Barry, Painting Supervisor, in this year’s Stars competition for his bravery when stopping a potentially fatal fire at a resident’s home in Enfield, owned by London & Quadrant Housing Association.

We are delighted to announce that Noel has won first place in this month's 'Outstanding Act' category, which means he is now successfully through to the next stage of the competition with a chance of winning an even bigger prize, with hopes of going through to the grand final.

Kenny Robson, Director of Painting stated:
'I’m extremely pleased that Noel has been recognised for his bravery; he thoroughly deserves to be rewarded for his actions. Not only did he ensure the safety of the resident but stopped her home and surrounding properties from further damage.'
