The recent flagship of Samsung the Galaxy Note 4 continues its tradition of making the ‘Note’ its highest-end-device. Samsung launched the new Note 4 smartphone at IFA 2014 in Berlin. The much awaited device offers several improvements over its predecessor Galaxy Note 3. The new phablet has become the talk of the town with advanced camera, Quad HD display, better processor, improved S Pen and UV sensor.
The device sports a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a "quad HD" resolution, meaning 440 x 2560 pixels. The Galaxy Note 4 runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and will presumably be updated to Android L when it becomes available. It is a 2.7 GHz Quad-Core 805 Processor which also packs in 3GB RAM. The S Pen stylus is more sensitive than previous versions. Using the S Note app, the S Pen can now match various pen and writing types, including a fountain pen or calligraphy. Like the Galaxy S5, the fourth generation of Note series features a fingerprint scanner on its Home button and heart rate sensor at the back. Interestingly, the fourth generation Note device also gets UV sensor, which is the first to be found in a mobile device, according to Samsung. It is designed to warn users if they're getting exposed too much in the sun by measuring the ultraviolet radiation. The Note phablet is also equipped with Fast Charging and Ultra Power Saving modes which ensures extended battery life and les charging time. The Note 4 battery will charge up to 50 percent in half an hour.
