PeopleChecking appreciate that in recent years, the popularity of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter has increased considerably, with the former now having over 500 million users and more and more signing up every day to connect with friends and family via messages, photos and videos. If the person believes they have been unfairly treated due to the way they are represented on these sites, the employers could find themselves open to a tribunal claim for discrimination, which could not only be damaging to a company’s finances but also to its reputation.”
