Chartered procurement specialist Peter Brookes has joined health and safety compliance business Altius Vendor Assessment as Customer Account Manager.
Peter, who is a founder member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and a QMS Lead
Auditor, joins Altius from Achilles, where he managed supplier qualification for the rail sector - having jointly developed a supplier auditing regime for the industry.
In his new role he will help steer business growth for Altius' supplier management services and compliance software solutions - developing new business and managing relationships with key clients, such as Morrisons, Selfridges, Airbus, SGP Property & Facilities management, Punch Taverns, Trust Inns, Debenhams, Airbus and Arcadia Group.
His career in supplier and contract management spans more than 30 years, including senior roles at British Rail and Cotgrave Colliery.
