Predictive maintenance specialists KONUX Gold sponsors of 9th International Railway Summit

Press release   •   Aug 13, 2019 08:00 BST

KONUX, whose Predictive Maintenance System helps the rail sector operate with the highest availability, will offer free one-to-one consultations as Gold Sponsors of the 9th International Railway Summit. The summit takes place from 19-21 February 2020 in Warsaw, Poland.

Munich-based KONUX offer their partners an end-to-end solution which uses IIoT sensors and artificial intelligence to improve network availability, extend asset lifetime and reduce costs. The company’s machine-learning-powered system continuously monitors and analyses the health of key switch components such as the track bed, and frog, and provides actionable recommendations. It ultimately allows for better maintenance planning by helping infrastructure managers anticipate failures before they happen and know which maintenance actions were most effective.

Founded in Spring 2014, KONUX have already built a strong international reputation, being nominated in 2017 as one of the 30 most promising “Technology Pioneers” by the World Economic Forum. Their solutions are being used by major organisations, including Deutsche Bahn, SNCF, and Trafikverket.

At the 9th International Railway Summit, senior representatives of KONUX will take part in pre-arranged one-to-one meetings with decision-makers from across the world. They will also present their solutions to delegates during an ‘Innovation Spotlight’ technical review.

Organisations and individuals interested in learning more about International Railway Summit and about how they can participate in the event can visit or contact the organisers, IRITS Events.

International Railway Summit is a meeting of senior executives representing the world’s key rail operators, rail infrastructure management companies, national and local governments, rolling stock manufacturers and a wide range of solution providers.

International Railway Summit provides a 'matchmaking' service between rail industry leaders ('buyers') and technical experts, based on buyer delegates' project requirements and the proven expertise of large and small suppliers that we have carefully handpicked. Based on this matchmaking, buyer delegates attend one-to-one consultation sessions with suitable suppliers during the annual summit.

In addition to the one-to-one meetings, delegates also attend a conference programme given by key industry leaders and experts and network over lunches and dinners with their counterparts and industry colleagues from all over the world. International Railway Summit is hosted by IRITS Events. The 8th edition will take place in New Delhi, India on 20-22 November 2019. The 9th edition will be held in Warsaw, Poland on 19-21 February 2020.
