Reading based The Polysonic are the latest voice to volunteer their services to zero budget movie Death Walks.
Polysonic frontman Tom Wolfe said "To create a movie soundtrack is a dream come true for any artist, the really amazing thing here is that we get to deliver a lot of different sounds that could either shape or break the movie!"
The movies director Spencer Hawken said "The Polysonic were a simple choice, they have so much raw talent, and can do wonderful things with instruments, things I never even thought were possible. Whether it's playing homage to the great Italian horror composers, the electronic sounds of John Carpenter, or an upbeat dance track, The Polysonic can do it all."
Spencer revealed he wanted a lot of different things from the soundtrack, and to have found one home for all those different elements is a dream come true.
Pre-production on the movie is underway, the project is unique in the film market as it is being resource funded by the community, each giving their time, property, or talent to make a movie with a production value of £250,000.
Filming is due to begin on July 15th, with an aim to get the trailer out in time for August, and the film to begin the festival circuit from early next year.
