Samsung Electronics has been making Smartphone since 80’s, which is actually a great history for any manufacturer. There have been several phones from the Korean giant that recorded 10 million unit sales. Now according to the latest report, the next generation flagship Note 3 has also recorded 10 million unit sales.
The Galaxy Note 3 left behind its predecessor by selling 5 million units in the first month of its release and now the number of units shipped has reached to 10 million. However the number of sales is comparatively lesser to the shipments made to the carriers and retailers. But still the numbers recorded by Galaxy note 3 phablet are remarkable when compared to the original Note which took 9 months to reach this much sales and the Note 2 took about 4 months.
When the results are compared to the Galaxy S4 handset, these are not that good as the successor of S3 sold 10 million units in about a month after it was released to the customers. Being available in a total of 58 countries around the world, the Galaxy Note 3 is more popular amongst the customers in China and other parts of Asia and Europe.
Before launching Galaxy Note 3 to the market, CEO JK Shin claimed that the phone will be able to record 10 million unit shipments The Note 3 has not only done what was expected out of it but has also shipped these units in a lesser time than its predecessor Note 2 which took 2 months to ship 5 million units.
