NCC Property Development has leased 92 percent of its eco-friendly office property at Ullevigatan 17-19 (http://www.ncc.se/en/Commercial-spaces/Offices/Ullevigatan_goteborg/). The building will be ready for occupancy in spring 2013 and plans are already in place for an additional property.
“The successful leasing of this property shows that our efforts to offer customers modern, attractive workplaces when developing a property have been effective. A prime location, high work-environment standards and energy efficiency are key factors when companies are looking for office premises. Ullevigatan meets all of these requirements,” says Manne Aronsson, Regional Manager at NCC Property Development.
Ullevigatan has attracted considerable attention and NCC Property Development already has advanced plans to build an additional office property next to the existing site.
“Since Ullevi is an area that is undergoing extensive development, work has already commenced on an additional office property,” says Manne Aronsson.
Nine companies have signed leases for about 13,000 of the approximately 14,000 square meters of floor space available in the building. These tenants include the analysis and technology consultancy company WSP, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, the operator and system integration company TDC and search consultants Findwise. The ground floor will house a 7-Eleven, as well as restaurant and conference facility operated by Sodexo.
The property has a prime location in terms of communication. Ullevigatan 17-19 is located near Nya Ullevi Arena in walking distance from Gothenburg Central Station. The property is easily accessible by both tram and bus, with stops located nearby. Ullevigatan 17-19 will be a GreenBuilding property and has received environmental certification at the Very Good level according to the international environmental classification system BREEAM. The premises are part of the “Future Office by NCC”concept, a Nordic model designed to create attractive and sustainable workplaces for customers.
“We aim to create premises that people feel proud to work in. Our tenants understand that future employees will choose employers that offer modern, environmentally compatible workplaces,” says Manne Aronsson.
