Derby based Colt Engineering is celebrating after landing a contract to provide its mechanical services to a new housing development in High Wycombe.
The M&E specialist, based on the Wyvern Business Park, started a twelve-month contract in December with Irish housing developer, T&A Kernoghan to install heating, ventilation and plumbing in to a 94-property social housing development.
The project consists of three phases, with Colt Engineering assisting T&A Kernoghan with 20 houses in the first phase, as the housing developers look to create modern and well-insulated affordable housing to benefit the area’s community and economy.
Managing director at Colt Engineering, Simon Colton said: “We are delighted to have been selected to provide our mechanical services to such a large social housing development in High Wycombe. We know that we will help to turn this development into a success and provide our services to a high quality and within time constraints.
“The project will help to create more affordable housing in the area, which can only be beneficial to local businesses due to the extra footfall.”
Colt Engineering will be working in partnership with the project’s contractors; Nottingham based NJ Industries who are facilitating the development of 74 houses and 20 flats throughout all three phases.
Simon added: “This was a fantastic contract to win and to end 2015, we’ve just settled into our brand new office on Wyvern Business Park and won a prestigious maintenance contract which we will be giving details on very soon.”
