London, UK (Mynewsdesk), July 15, 2012 - Back in early 1900s, in the process of shaping the Modern Olympic Games, Baron Pierre de Coubertin, known as the father of the Olympic movement, shared his view that the true Olympic spirit can be found in anyone and the ultimate goal is not the gold but to get the whole world involved. His famous line “The important thing is not to win, but to take part.” has become inspirational for many young athletes, who thrive in a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.
The huge advancement in technology and the immense growth in Web and Social Media use have given the IOC an opportunity to breath in new life to Pierre de Coubertin vision. Months before the actual start of the 2012 Olympics in London, the IOC made it clear that they brought the Games to a completely new level. London 2012 have already earned the nickname “Social Games”, since through integration of Social networks – Facebook, Twitter and YouTube – fans around the world are no longer just viewers but actual participants. Furthermore, the IOC has granted permission to all athletes and accredited personnel to post, blog and tweet from personal perspective – giving fans a completely new point of view by letting them in the heart of the Games.
The team of young developers at E-beeze Ltd. plays major role in redefining the Olympics. Excited that the Games are happening just next door, the innovative team dedicated their time and resources to design a mobile app that will spread the Olympic Spirit around the world. Daniel Farkas-Homoki, the Project Leader, told us: “We felt so blessed with the opportunity to welcome the Olympics in our town and to be part of the ultimate sporting event, we were immediately triggered to share this excitement. Our goal and inspiration is to bring the Games to the rest of the world – in the end of the day, that’s what the Olympic spirit is all about. Luckily, we were able to produce the tool to make this possible.” They have created the amazing Spogger App, that truly complies with the spirit of this year “Social Games” - it acts as a powerful engine generating and enhancing the Olympic experience for all fans around the world by comprising fun updates on the latest news, events, trivia quizzes, engaging challenges and many more. The app is also a unique guide to the Olympic Games that will provide you with all the information you need about the venues and events, and the sport disciplines, which you can easily access through its beautifully designed, user friendly navigation menu.
The team just released the latest update to Spogger App, with a new user interface and improved user experience. The updated version is now free for limited time only (till July 17th) so do not delay and download your copy of Spogger App today from iTunes App Store, Google Play or Amazon App Store.
To support their Spogger App, the E-beeze team initiated also a movement called OlympiMania. They are working together with a great number with fans, bloggers and charities to truly spread the Olympic Spirit. They have planned many surprises and events for the upcoming two months so we advice you to stay tuned to their website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts so you do not miss all the fun.
And if that’s not enough the OlympiManians are giving away tickets to London 2012 to eight lucky lads. From the E-beeze HQ told us that fans will have 4 chances to win these tickets.
