TalkTalk appoints BMC to 3 year Print Management remit
Press release: 10th January 2012, London, UK - TalkTalk Group has awarded a three-year print management contract to Banner Managed Communication (BMC) after a rigorous competitive tender process.
One of the key reasons BMC was awarded the contract was the excellent client services they have provided to TalkTalk during the past five years. In that time BMC has proved a reliable and much-valued supplier. BMC has helped TalkTalk consistently deliver their marketing objectives through a robust and flexible supply chain, in addition to significantly improving service and quality levels and driving costs down.
Michele Lockwood, Head of Direct Marketing at TalkTalk commented:
“One of our key selection criteria was to work with a company who provide a single source solution for our integrated communication needs. With their knowledge of our core business BMC’s client services team provides added value and is a seamless fit with TalkTalk’s marketing department.”
Catherine Burke, Managing Director at BMC commented:
“We are delighted to have been awarded the TalkTalk contract. Two particular areas of focus will be to continue TalkTalk’s drive for operational innovation as well as supporting their ongoing commitment to reduce significantly their environmental impact.”
Rob Jones, TalkTalk Procurement commented on BMC’s appointment:
“Awarding the contract to BMC is a reflection of their very strong and innovative proposal in what is a very competitive market. This contract will enable us to build on the great work they have already done and deliver a service that really meets our future business requirements. In addition part of their core print management remit is to continue to deliver us further savings and efficiencies.”
BMC secured a mandated contract with AOL UK (now TalkTalk) to cover their full range of marketing print requirements in 2006. BMC provide a full end–to-end business solution from the management of TalkTalk’s print, right through to their logistics, fulfilment, data and response management facilities. The contract involves a wide variety of print activity from dedicated pre-media support, Point-of-Sale, Direct Mail to daily fulfilment campaigns.
BMC will provide an on-site account team consisting of an Account Director, a Senior Account Manager and three Account Managers
