London, 23.11.16 – Global trade enabler DP World will host this year’s TOC Middle East conference to be held on 6-7 December 2016 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, Dubai, UAE.

TOC Events are delighted to confirm that the official opening ceremony for the accompanying TOC Middle East Exhibition will feature Jamal Majid Bin Thaniah, Vice Chairman, DP World.
As part of DP World’s long-standing support for TOC Middle East, Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, DP World, UAE Region, will deliver the keynote address to this year’s conference.

In TECH TOC Ahmed Abu Safia, Programme Manager at DP World Institute, will lead a seminar dedicated to the people who work in the port sector. The session Talent in the Terminal will explore how the industry can attract “Millennials” to its ranks.
TOC Conference debates the key issues
A packed agenda features an impressive speaker line-up who will walk delegates through the most critical issues in the regional maritime and logistics space, including focused discussions on the business, economic & container outlook, the One Belt, One Road initiative and the re-emergence of Iran into the global trading arena.
This year’s event also features a special Sea & Air Cargo Briefing hosted by The Loadstar. Built south of the city, Dubai's new airport, Dubai World Central, is a giant economic zone centred around the new Al Maktoum International Airport. Once completed, this airport will be the world’s largest global gateway with capacity for more than 160 million passengers per year. It will also serve as a multimodal logistics hub for 12 million tonnes of freight.
In the Sea & Air Cargo Briefing, Youssef A. Beydoun, Head of Cargo Planning & Compliance, Dubai Airports Cargo & Logistics, will update the industry on one of the region’s biggest infrastructure projects.
