The Managing Director of London Sales Execs was presented with the industry’s most sought-after accolade at a ceremony in central London on the 12th of May.
London Sales Execs: About the firm
Leading Events sales agency London Sales Execs recently joined entrepreneurs, business owners and brand ambassadors from across the UK for an annual industry celebration. Held at London’s iconic Royal Festival Hall and organised by the biggest names in sales and marketing, the 2018 Sales Awards Ceremony hosted a day of recognition and inspiration; aimed at generating more momentum within the sector and nurturing up and coming talent. Throughout the event, entrepreneurs from South Africa, America and the UK were invited to the stage to share personal accounts from their time in business. Rousing, poignant and sometimes hard-hitting, these stories had a major impact on the ceremony’s attendees all geared towards developing the right mindset for success in sales and business at large.
The focal point of the event, however, was the presentation of the award for ‘Business Owner of the Year’. Each year this title is given to an entrepreneur that drives consistently high sales figures for their client, runs the largest sales and marketing force, while also giving back to people and the industry by way of mentoring and inspiring industry newcomers.
This Year, Tom Harris, MD of London Sales Execs was presented with the coveted award, to the delight of the London Sales Execs workforce who were also in attendance to offer their congratulations.
Taking to the stage, Mr Harris talked about his time in the industry. Reminding everybody in Royal Festival Hall, that he started out doing door to door sales in London when he came to the UK in 2008 after travelling and went on to build several companies from scratch.
He stressed to everybody in the audience that the skills he had to develop in a tough entry level sales role gave him the grit and determination to be successful through the ups and downs of both business and personal life. The key message was that by learning field sales he was outside his comfort zone, and by getting out of normal routines and having the courage to face fears, people realise that they are capable of much more.
Since its launch, London Sales Execs has been on a mission to change the way sales is perceived. As a critical focus for any business, the agency is offering support through meaningful, face to face connections, delivered by its force of talented customer communicators.
