Uniline Safety Systems have been designing bespoke solutions for fall arrest and fall protection systems and solutions for years and are proud to announce the successful completion of another project – this time for Sainsbury’s.
The architect in charge of the design of the new Sainsbury’s in Colne in Lancashire contacted Uniline early on to ensure that not only would the new store have the relevant safety features for maintenance staff but also that the safety products would be sympathetic to the architecture.
Uniline Safety systems are happy to announce that the project was a great success and the Roofsafe Cable Fall Protection System was successfully installed by Rostek. The new Sainsbury’s store at Colne in Lancashire is now in full compliance with all the Work at Height Regulations and their fall arrest solution is hidden and does not impose on the architecture of the building.
Uniline Safety Systems produced a bespoke solution for the company in order for their maintenance team to be able to carry out routine maintenance and cleaning to the plant machinery that is situated on the roof of the store. The maintenance staff are also able to maintain and clean the natural light tunnels that transfer the sunlight from the roof into the store itself.
