A Yorkshire coffee company is celebrating its ongoing success despite the tough economic climate by making a new appointment to its senior management team.
The Wicked Coffee Company, based at Wetherby, has recently welcomed aboard National Sales Manager Karen Young, who will be responsible for developing further its ever-increasing client portfolio. Karen’s appointment comes in the wake of the company winning two major new business contracts.
Earlier in the year Wicked Coffee won the right to supply 36 branches of AMF Bowling (which has since changed its name to The Original Bowling Co), and has recently also won the business for the same company’s 25 Hollywood Bowl sites; café services will be rolled out to these in the near future. The Wicked Coffee Company has also been granted the accolade of becoming a nominated supplier for Beacon Purchasing, the UK’s leading purchasing consortium for the hospitality industry, with over 2,000 members.
Simon Wiles, Food and Beverage Manager of The Original Bowling Co, owners of Hollywood Bowl, says “As we step into a new chapter of acquiring the Hollywood Bowl centres, we are pleased to incorporate Wicked Coffee as our nominated coffee supplier, based on the high quality of product and service that we have received over the past twelve months with our current estate. Wicked Coffee has made a flying start to its relationship with Beacon Purchasing by developing a new range of premium coffees called Superior Blend for Beacon members, including major hotel chain Best Western.

These latest successes come during a year in which The Wicked Coffee Company has seen its sales grow by over 10%.
